Understanding your booking flexibility

1. Cancellation Windows

At Royal Plaza Hotel, we strive to offer our guests maximum flexibility. Our standard cancellation policy allows guests to cancel their reservation without penalty up to 48 hours prior to the standard check-in time (14:00 PM local time) on the day of arrival.

2. Late Cancellations & No-Shows

If a cancellation request is received within 48 hours of the scheduled arrival, or if a guest fails to arrive for their reservation ("no-show"), the following penalties apply:

  • Late Cancellation: A charge equivalent to the first night's room rate plus applicable taxes.
  • No-Show: A charge equivalent to the entire reserved stay duration plus applicable taxes.

3. Non-Refundable Rates

Reservations made under "Non-Refundable" promotional rates, heavily discounted advanced purchase rates, or certain Special Offers cannot be modified or cancelled free of charge. In these instances, the full amount of the stay is charged at the time of booking and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

4. Processing Refunds

If you cancel a refundable reservation within the allowed cancellation window, any pre-payments made will be fully refunded to the original payment method. Please allow 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or credit card issuer's processing times.

5. Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that unforeseen events happen. In cases of documented medical emergencies or official travel restrictions, we review cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our management team directly at reservation@royalplazaduqm.com with supporting documentation.
